I’m sitting here staring at my computer wondering how to put into words how I feel about this book. There are tons of reviews on Goodreads already, so there’s not a lot I can add. For the most part, people loved this book.
When I started, I thought I was in the minority. I couldn’t see what everyone loved. I had a hard time getting into it. Billy’s a sniper for hire. The first part of the book is the story of Billy taking his biggest and what he plans to be final job.
While Billy’s establishing his alias and waiting for his job to play out, we are introduced to Alice. Once Alice enters the picture, the pace begins to pick up. I’m suddenly captivated by the story. As the plot thickens, I become emotionally attached to both Billy and Alice.
Well, to wrap things up, I fell in love with Billy Summers – this book hit all my emotions hard! I’m glad I stuck with it. Now I’m really hoping what I hear is true and they are working on a film adaptation. I need to see this on the big screen. I give Billy Summers four out of five heartfelt stars. Now I need to go clear my head. This book’s gonna live there for a while, but I need to get hold of my emotions. They’re all over the board. Stephen King can really do a number on me once he gets me hooked! That’s what makes him the King of Horror (and any genre he decides to write, honestly).
