August was a great month of reading. I hit my reading goal for the year too.
I read out of my comfort zone with Beach Read and was pleasantly surprised. My usual go-to is horror. I’m not entirely sure how to classify Beach Read – RomCom might be the closest I can think of. I enjoyed it so much I ended up giving it 5 stars.
I also began reviewing NetGalley books. That’s been an interesting and fun learning journey.
My favorite book of the month was Video Night. It was a fun alien read and a throwback to the 80s.
